Welcome to Casa Cinco.
A home for connection and creation.
Casa Cinco is a community of expats and locals working across hospitality, travel, art, and the broader experience and consumer economy.
It starts with our weekly newsletter, Curating Connection: resources and reflections for those seeking to build a more connected world (or, at least, a more connected life).
But… it doesn’t end there.
Through community dinners, artist-led workshops, weekends in nature, resource-sharing, and honest conversation, Casa Cinco invites you to pause, reconnect, and co-create what comes next.
It’s an ongoing exploration of what makes people feel at home, what human nature longs for, and how spaces and experiences can foster true connection.
A living, breathing learning journey - in pursuit of reconnection: with ourselves, with each other, and with the planet.
A return to our shared, human nature.
Join us, and dare to connect.

About me
👋 Hi - I’m Andy. Writer, host, and founder of Casa Cinco. Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, now based in Madrid, Spain. Married to my high-school sweetheart and endlessly inspired by the intersection of hospitality, art, and nature as conduits for human connection.
After half a decade in investment banking and private equity, I stepped away from the deal table to build a more connected world. Years working on deals in the consumer and retail sectors led me to hospitality, where I’ve since:
Collaborated with a serial members’ club founder in London;
Studied the psychology, physiology, sociology, and politics of human connection; and,
Trained with one of the most recognized community builders of our time.
All while pursuing one question: How can I help build a more connected world?
Casa Cinco is my answer - an ongoing exploration of what makes people feel at home, what human nature longs for, and how spaces and experiences can foster real connection.
I’m building the world I want to live in, alongside others who feel the same. Will you join me?
